Folks, let's get down to brass tacks. Aviation is worse than running for a public office. The politics are terrible and the "friendships" that are made are often purely for personal gain. This is a hard reality that I have started dealing with recently, because all of my aviation relationships are pure and I truly enjoy the friends I have made.
So my question is -- why are some people so ruthless when it comes to this flying stuff? Some people will say anything about another person just to ruin them. I won't name names, but there was an opportunity for me to move up but I decided against it when I heard about the true nature of this gentleman's operations. Less than professional - let's leave it there.
Anyway -- besides being thrown into the political mess of aviation, I have had a blast flying recently. Everything from the Taylorcraft to the 2004 Seneca IV - I love it all. The Taylorcraft is still the most challenging and my favorite, but the Seneca is also quite the experience. I hope to get paid to fly it one of these days. We'll see.
I continue to flight instruct at IIB. Liking that as well.
Clear Skies,
Casey
